IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • If there is more than one child please consider whether the clothes will photograph nicely together, not sure bring it anyways we can sort it out together on the day.

  • Concentrate most of your energy into making sure your child or children get an early night the night before your shoot, We want to get the best results on the day this will help to make this happen. A smiley relaxed Childs character is want we want to shine through in your portraits.

  • Book at a time if possible that suits your child please consider their eating and sleeping patterns.

  • Pack these items in your bag Snacks, Bribery treats, baby wipes maybe even a bib in case we need a quick feed in between set ups.

  • Groom your child before you arrive.

  • Hair brushed or styled.

  • Nails free from nail polish { this one happens more time than you think chipped rainbow nails isn't something I can edit out!!}

  • Faces washed cleaned free from sleep in the eyes.

  • Nose No Boogers allowed!

  • Keep a bib on your Dribblers so they don't mess up their outfit on the way.

  • Please Chat to your child let them know what to expect and that it's going to be lots of fun

  • {This can also apply to husbands as well}

  • It is common for kids to be shy on arrival please don't force your child to perform for the camera before they able to relax and settle in I will often have a little play with them until I can see they comfortable in the studio surrounding. This helps to capture your childs personality and lifelong memories with ease.

ACCESSORIES

  • Hats can look really awesome.

  • Headbands/clips are also cute and bring variety to the gallery.

  • Shoes/Gumboots are all ok to bring.

  • Please note I have loads of accessories in the studio you are welcome to use the above mentioned are just suggestions.

Outfit Ideas for family photos

You should try and coordinate your outfits. Choose similar colours that work well with each other. Try to stay  away from black tops for everyone and most family shots will be from waist up so don't stress over shoes or the bottoms to much.

Hair & Make Up
  • Make-up should be classic and clean. However your foundation can be applied a little thicker than usual as this photographs well and helps me to smooth out your skin in post-processing.

  • Finger and toenails groomed. Lotion and lip balm will help with close-ups.

  • Hair the same – loose is best. Have your hair either straightened or curled/waved depending on your style.
